Luxor CRM Launches Cross-Platform Email Integration

Are emails getting missed within Luxor CRM? When things get busy, do you sometimes forget to log emails in Luxor? If you answered yes to either question, then you’ll love our new ultra-simple Cross-Platform Email Integration!

Here's how it works. Once this feature has been enabled by the Luxor CRM support team, simply CC your client alias (clientname@activities.luxorcrm.com) each time you send an email and the system will do the rest. It’s that simple. No plug-ins to install. No version problems with your email client. And no more remembering to log the email message within Luxor CRM. Whether you’re at your desk or on the road, as long as the email address above is CC’d the activity will be automatically attached to the appropriate client in the system.

What if the contact doesn't exist? No problem. If a new email address is discovered, Luxor CRM will automatically create a new contact record with the new email address and record the message. What if you forget to CC the system? No problem. Messages can also be forwarded to the email address above and the system will clean up the message (to remove the forwarding information) before recording the activity in Luxor CRM. Having trouble remembering the email address? No problem. Once you start using this new feature, the email address normally pops up on your phone or computer after you type the first few letters. Alternatively, you can have your IT administrator automatically CC all your outgoing work email to the address above.

And here's another way you might want to use this exciting new feature. If you initiate an email from the Opportunity/Job module, the system will auto populate the CC mailbox address and place the #Unique ID into the subject line of the email enclosed by two '#' signs (ie. #1234#), which can then be appended with your own subject line. By doing this, the activity and all future messages will be logged against the Opportunity/Job, and will allow you to view any included email attachments such as proposals, work orders or estimates.

This new feature is available to Luxor CRM users at no additional cost and is just one of the ways we are improving our system each and every day to give you the most powerful productivity tool on the market. Luxor CRM Announces Expanded 'One-Click' Activity History Feature

The Luxor CRM team is pleased to announce the new Expanded 'One-Click' Activity History feature. From within any module, users have a new Activity History button that can be selected with a single click. Once selected, an easy-to-read, detailed activity history report is generated that shows the latest 20 activities for the record. (Older activities can also be viewed by continuing to scroll down.) Where previously users had to open each activity history record individually, now with a single click a detailed history report can be quickly and easily generated to place all the information you need right at your fingertips.

The Expanded 'One-Click' Activity History feature is perfect for when you’re heading out the door to an important client meeting, or need to quickly get up to speed on the latest client developments. Best of all, email attachments are included in the report as a clickable hyperlink. And if you need to add a new activity, simply click the “New Activity” button at the top of the report and new activities can be logged without the need to navigate back to the record.

The Expanded 'One-Click' Activity History feature is accessible through the web-based desktop version of Luxor CRM and is available to Luxor CRM users free of charge. A mobile version of the Expanded Activity History Report is planned for launch in the future.

New Expanded 'One-Click' Activity History feature: Quickly and easily view all the activities of a record with the click of a button.




Luxor CRM Introduces New Duplicate Contact Merge Feature

Maintaining a clean database of client records is important to help you maximize the benefits of the Luxor CRM system. Now with the introduction of the Duplicate Contact Merge feature for clients in Restoration and Referral-based businesses, your system auditor can quickly and easily combine duplicate contact information into a single record. To access this feature, simply select the two records you wish to combine and then click the new “Merge” button. The system will prompt you to select a primary record you wish to keep and then all corresponding data from the other duplicate record will then be added to the primary record. Phone numbers, email addresses, activity history and any associated opportunities are all preserved through the Merge process. In addition, Luxor CRM will include a new “Duplicate contacts merged” activity in the history along with the corresponding time and date stamp. If your system is integrated with PSA, duplicate contact mergers will also be applied to the PSA system.

The Duplicate Contact Merge Feature is accessible through the web-based desktop version. The feature is available to Luxor CRM users free of charge.
